Dining at Tunkhannock Manor
Your Table is Waiting

Meals are about more than satisfying your hunger. The time spent around the table sharing food and swapping stories can fill your soul as well as your stomach. Plus, there’s dessert.
Made Fresh, Done Well
Our homestyle dishes are prepared in the community kitchen and served fresh. We mix things up often and make sure every plate walks the line between healthy and delicious enough to forget it’s healthy.

Frequently Asked Questions
What meals are included in the monthly rate?
Residents receive breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Snacks are also available in the common area kitchenettes or can be requested from staff at any time.
Can residents choose from a menu or are meals set in advance?
Yes. Each morning at breakfast, residents choose their meals for the next day.
How are allergies handled?
At move-in, nursing staff informs our Dietary Manager of any allergies. These are added to a list that’s shared with the kitchen team. Staff are trained to follow it carefully and stay updated as needs change.
Do you accommodate special diets?
Yes. We follow physician-ordered diets and can also accommodate resident preferences when possible.
Can I taste a meal during a tour?
Yes. If your visit falls during a mealtime, you’re welcome to join us. Or we can schedule a separate time for you to stop by and try a meal.
Can guests join residents for meals?
Yes, guests are welcome anytime.
How do residents share feedback about food?
Residents are invited to share suggestions during our monthly house meeting, which includes time for dining feedback.
